And any individual or legal entity making a purchase on the website (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”).
2. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products offered on the e-commerce website operated by the Seller.
3. Products
The products offered are those manufactured in the Tour, Bois et Chat workshop in France.
The Seller takes the greatest care in presenting and describing products, but cannot guarantee that all information is perfectly accurate.
Turned wooden objects are handcrafted products made from natural wood.
Each piece is unique and may have variations in:
- Colour
- Grain pattern
- Texture
- Dimensions
- Tool marks
- Natural wood imperfections
Wood imperfections are intentionally preserved on the pieces to give them their unique character.
These variations do not constitute defects but are inherent characteristics of the natural material.

4. Orders
The Customer validates their order after checking its contents.
Any order constitutes acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of a dispute with the Customer.
5. Prices
Prices are displayed in euros, including all taxes (VAT included), excluding delivery costs.
Delivery costs are calculated according to the weight of the order.
The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time; however, products will be invoiced according to the price applicable at the time the order is placed.
6. Payment
Payment is made in full at the time the order is placed.
Accepted payment methods:
- All payment methods offered through Shopify Payments
Payments are secure.
Payment in instalments is not available.
7. Delivery
7.1 Delivery Areas
Deliveries are made to:

7.2 Shipping Carrier
Deliveries are handled by:

7.3 Delivery Times
- Order processing: 2 to 3 business days
- Delivery: approximately 4 business days after shipment
Delivery times are provided as estimates only.
7.4 Delivery Costs
Delivery costs are calculated according to the weight of the order and displayed before the order is confirmed.
For certain products, delivery to a pickup point or home delivery is offered free of charge. This information is specified in the product description.
7.5 Delivery Delays or Issues
In the event of a delay or delivery issue, the Customer must contact:

The Customer must check the condition of the products upon receipt.
In the event of:

- Missing product
- Product not matching the order
The Customer has 7 days to submit a complaint to:

In accordance with applicable law, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal.
Cancellation of an order or an item from an order is possible free of charge as long as shipment has not taken place.
The Customer may return products without having to provide a reason.

Products benefit from:

- The legal guarantee against hidden defects

- Use that does not comply with instructions

15. Applicable Law
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law.
In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
TERMS OF USE FOR TURNED WOODEN OBJECTS
1. Nature of the Products
Turned wooden objects are handcrafted products made from natural wood.
Each piece is unique and may have variations in:
- Colour
- Grain pattern
- Texture
- Dimensions
- Tool marks
- Natural wood imperfections
Wood imperfections are intentionally preserved on the pieces to give them their unique character.
These variations do not constitute defects but are inherent characteristics of the natural material.
2. Intended Use
Turned wooden objects are designed for a specific use defined for each product (decoration, kitchen use, utility purposes, etc.).
The Customer agrees to use the product according to its intended purpose.
3. Usage Precautions
To preserve the quality and durability of the wood, it is recommended to:
- Avoid prolonged contact with water (unless otherwise specified)
- Do not expose the product to excessive humidity
- Do not use a dishwasher or microwave
- Avoid direct sources of heat
- Do not use harsh chemical products
4. Maintenance
For the care of wooden objects:
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth
- If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately afterwards
- Occasionally apply a suitable wood oil, such as grapeseed oil (for applicable items)
5. Natural Evolution of Wood
Wood is a living material.
Over time, it may:
- Slightly change (colour, texture, shape)
- Develop small cracks
- Expand or contract depending on humidity and temperature
These phenomena are normal and do not constitute defects.
6. Safety and Liability
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for:
- Improper use of products
- Failure to follow maintenance instructions
- Use of objects in conditions for which they were not intended
The user is responsible for the use and maintenance of the product.
7. Food-Related Products
Although the finishing products used are non-toxic (tung oil, grapeseed oil, beeswax, carnauba wax), the items sold by Tour, Bois et Chat are not certified for food use.
Any use in a food-related context is carried out by the Customer at their own responsibility.
Tour, Bois et Chat accepts no liability and no compensation claims will be accepted.
Using items such as bowls, dishes, salad bowls, or other objects with wet food or any liquid for a prolonged period may significantly damage the item. Such damage is not covered by any warranty.
